Around 7:30pm, a man was within his car and parked in the car park at Domino’s Pizza in Titchfield Road, Kilmarnock. He was approached by a man who pulled open his car door and tried to steal his mobile phone. He was wearing a dark grey hooded top. Detective Constable Robert Graham from Kilmarnock CID said: “We are carrying out extensive inquiries including door-to-door and checking all available CCTV in order to trace the person responsible for this crime. I would appeal to anyone who saw the suspect in the area or noticed anyone acting suspiciously or out of place to get in touch with us.” Anyone with any information is asked to call CID officers at Kilmarnock Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 3410 of 29 October, 2019.
