Police are appealing for information following report of a sexual exposure in Troon

South Ayrshire Police are appealing to the public for information following the report of a sexual exposure in Troon.

A 52-year-old woman was walking her dog on Darley golf course around 9am on Sunday 25 August 2019. A young male has then exposed himself to her before running off in the direction of Morven Drive and Dundonald Road area.


The suspect is described as white, around 14-years-old, around 5ft in height and wearing a black baseball cap, black jogging bottoms and black trainers.


Communities Inspector Frank Braddick said: “We would like to speak to anyone who might have seen someone fitting this description in that area around 9am. This can be a busy area with other dog walkers and golfers so if anyone has any information relating to this incident, please contact us."


Anyone with information is asked to call Ayr Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 1475 of 25 August 2019. Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.
