Police charge TWO teenagers aged 13 & 14 after vandalism to cars around Ayr
VANDALISM TO CARS - SOUTH AYRSHIRE
On the evening of Sunday 21 February 2021 Police Scotland received reports of vandalism to a number of cars in the Ayr area.
Following enquiries by local officers, two boys aged 13 and 14 have been charged with these incidents and also for an alleged theft in Ayr town centre.
Both boys will be reported to the Children's Reporter.
Chief Inspector Brian Anderson, Area Commander at South Ayrshire said "I am aware of the distress and inconvenience these crimes caused to the victims and the disgust from the wider public following media reporting of these incidents.
"Enquiries were undertaken and following a further incident of alleged theft in the town centre today the boys were traced and reported.
"I would to thank those members of the public who assisted with police enquiries following these incidents".
