An 88-year-old woman has died following a collision in Largs on Wednesday, 1 April, 2026. Around 10.05am, the female pedestrian was crossing Main Street when she was struck by an HGV being driven by a 51-year-old man. Nando’s has announced it will open its first restaurant in Ayrshire at Kilmarnock Retail Park on Wednesday 21 January. In a news release, the restaurant chain said: “Want PERi-PERi (and Sagres) on tap?
