Emergency repairs to grounded overhead power lines left TWO Ayrshire villages without electricity fo

Supplies were removed from Dunlop and Barrmill around 3pm this afternoon to fix a damaged overhead line leaving some properties in the KA15 area without power for over 6 hours.

Supplies were restored at around 9pm this evening with Scottish power apologising for any inconvenience caused.
