Ayr Academy will re-open for all pupils tomorrow - 14th January

AYR Academy will re-open tommorow after it was closed due to a heating system failure.

South Ayrshire Council issued a new statement on it's website, it said:

"The issue with the heating which caused the partial closure of Ayr Academy has been resolved and the school will re-open for all pupils on Thursday 14 January."

Pupils sitting higher exams & prelims had to attend the School today when it was partially closed, the council provided electric heaters for them to be able to sit the prelims/exams.

For the rest of the pupils it was a day off.
