Council Set to Reveal Design Proposals for Ayr’s Riverside Public Space at Public Consultation

South Ayrshire Council are delighted to invite you to join the design team to discuss emerging design proposals for the new riverside public space on Ayr High Street on Wednesday 29 January.

Ayr Riverside
The Ayr Riverside site

This is the second public consultation event for the project following an initial ideas workshop in November, attended by over 200 members of the public. As a direct response to the feedback received, initial design proposals have been developed for the space situated on the vacant High Street site, adjacent to the River Ayr and Town Hall.

The event will take place on Wednesday 29th January, between 1pm and 7.30pm, at The Grain Exchange, 77-81 High Street.

This is a free to attend, drop-in event where we welcome your participation in shaping future proposals. The event will include short 15 minute presentations from the project team to explain our outline design proposals, culminating in an open discussion and Q&A. These talks will take place at 1.30pm and 6pm respectively.

This is your opportunity to shape developing proposals for this highly significant space within Ayr town centre with your feedback feeding directly into the emerging proposals.
