TRIBUTES have been paid to a soldier aged 19 who died suddenly while serving in Northern Ireland.
Private Lenny Reid, from Stevenston, Ayrshire, died at Co Down’s Palace Barracks in Belfast.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland said they had been called to investigate a sudden death.
They added there were not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
Pte Reid, 19, moved to Carlisle, Cumbria, from Ayrshire with his family.
Candles, flowers and messages of love and support for the soldier’s family have been left outside his dormitory at the barracks.
His brother, Senna Reid, posted on social media: “R.I.P Lenny Reid. You were the best brother anyone could ask for and a fine soldier.
