Colleagues from Stagecoach South Scotland in Ayrshire are preparing to lace up their walking boots once again for Kiltwalk 2026, marking the fourth consecutive year teams from the area have taken part in the event.

The Glasgow Kiltwalk takes place on Sunday 26 April, with 45 places available for Stagecoach employees. Open to all abilities, the Kiltwalk is designed to be inclusive, sociable and enjoyable, bringing colleagues together in support of causes close to their hearts.

Participants will be raising money for a wide range of charities across Scotland, with the opportunity to apply for match funding to help maximise the impact of their fundraising. The initiative builds on the success of previous years, promoting healthier lifestyles, strengthening teamwork and delivering meaningful support to communities served by Stagecoach.

The Kiltwalk has become a key fixture in the Stagecoach calendar, with colleagues from across the business, including drivers, operational staff, managers and support teams, taking part in distances ranging from short, family-friendly walks to more challenging routes.

Fiona Doherty, Managing Director of Stagecoach South Scotland, said:

“It’s fantastic to see our Ayrshire colleagues taking part in the Kiltwalk for the fourth year running. Events like this really capture the spirit of Stagecoach; supporting one another, prioritising wellbeing and giving something back to the communities we serve.

“I’m incredibly proud of everyone who is taking part and raising funds for such important causes across Scotland, and I wish them all the very best for the day.”

Stagecoach continues to encourage colleague-led fundraising and volunteering activity, recognising the positive impact it has on individuals, teams and the communities in which the company operates
