Big hearted apprentices dig deep for Ayrshire Hospice

Big hearted modern apprentices from South Ayrshire Council have organised a raffle which has raised more than £500 for Ayrshire Hospice. The gesture marked part of their activity for Scottish Apprenticeship Week (29 February to 4 March).

The money was raised in just a few days as part of a Council wide fundraising drive. Two lucky winners in Alloway and Prestwick got a free garden makeover just ahead of spring, with modern apprentices taking time out to showcase their skills.
