The search has been on to find the owner of a £57m lottery ticket, bought in South Ayrshire, that had been left unclaimed since March.

The owner had until midnight yesterday (Sunday), to come forward with the winning ticket.
However, Camelot has confirmed they are finalising validation of a claim made for the £57m ticket.
In a statement released today, Monday 14 September, Camelot said:
“We can confirm that we are currently finalising the validation of a claim made on this prize and are in the process of arranging for payment to be made to the ticket-holder.
“Once the prize has been fully validated and paid, we’ll issue confirmation of that."
