Mary Douneghey celebrated her 100th birthday recently.
Mary, from Ayr worked in Grays Carpet factory in the town and then worked in Barassie Works until she became a full time mum in 1946.
She celebrated her remarkable birthday with her daughter, two grand-daughters and three great grandchildren.
South Ayrshire Provost, Helen Moonie, visited Mary to celebrate this very special birthday.
