Council approve planning of new Ayr United stand

South Ayrshire Council, yesterday, approved the planning permission of Ayr United’s new stand proposals for Somerset Park.
The exciting and ambitious project will involve a mix of 700 seats and terracing under cover.
Proposals also include a plush new hospitality suite with catering for 170 guests, integrated within the structure. The club's operations centre will occupy purpose-built offices within the new stand, said Clancy Consulting.
The club hopes to open their new facility in 2024.
