Muirkirk Primary School and Early Childhood Centre will remain closed tomorrow, Friday 19 January 2018.
We anticipate that all other educational establishments will re-open as normal.
Multi-agency efforts are being made today to ensure safe access to, and around, educational sites in readiness for potential opening.
In the light of current weather forecasts that may bring more snow, each individual establishment will undertake a risk assessment very early on Friday morning.
Any schools which require to remain closed will be featured here on the council’s website, social media and on local radio.
