A FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Largs Seafront by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency.
On Monday evening around 10pm local time coastal flooding is predicted to occur along Firth of Clyde. This flooding is due to a combination of tidal levels with a tidal surge and large wave action. Overtopping of large waves and localised flooding to low-lying areas is predicted in the Largs Seafront area. Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property. Advice and information is also available through Floodline on 0345 9881188. The Ardrossan Coastguard Rescue Team will be deployed on incident prevention patrol this evening and we continue to advise the public to stay away from exposed coastal areas.
