Trains between Ayr, Girvan and Stranraer are currently cancelled after a landslide between Maybole and Girvan.

Scotrail says disruption is expected untill 10pm with replacement buses currently in operation.
Scotrail issued the following information
Due to a landslip at Kilkerran the line is blocked. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Impact:
Train services between Glasgow Central and Girvan will be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Additional Information:
We have a landslip in the Kilkerran area, (between Girvan and Ayr) which has closed this section of the line. Our staff are making arrangement to carry out repairs and it is anticipated that the line will be closed until the end of service tonight.
