For years Hillfoot Rd has always had two main shops, one being a spar & the other a McColls, in reality both are always more pricey than your supermarkets or corner shops, however that has now changed.
The McColls has now been taken over by the budget brand Premier which for the first time will bring local products to the area at value price.
All staff who where employed by McColls have also been taken on with Premier keeping local people in jobs.
The Shop which has now opened will open between 6AM & 10PM
