Hospitality industry set to be hit hard by new restrictions say Bar & Restaurant owners

Bar, Pub & Restaurant owners across Ayrshire have said they will be hit hard by new restrictions that force Pubs, Bars & restaurants across Ayrshire & Arran to close from 6PM on Friday for 16 days.

Although a £40M support package will be available many hospitality industry workers worry that the end could be near for there business.

Small independent pub and bar owners especially feel vulnerable to the new restrictions especially if they are extended beyond the 16 days that are planned.

All licensed premises that sell Alcohol must close for 16 days from 6PM on Friday the FM Nicola Sturgeon announced yesterday.

Pubs, Bars and restaurants will all be affected unless they can do take away and won't be allowed to reopen until Monday 26th October.
