Level 4 lockdown restrictions have officially come into force across South and East Ayrshire at 6PM.
The lockdown restrictions means all unessential shops, indoor cafe areas, pubs & restaurants must now close like back in the March lockdown while essential businesses can remain open for click and collect or essential shopping and coffee shops or cafes can also remain open for takeaway.
The restrictions are now in-force until 6PM on Friday 11th December or 3 weeks from today.
All non essential travel is also not permitted while travel for essential purposes is allowed.
North Ayrshire however will remain in level 3 and Stagecoach also confirmed that all buses across Ayrshire will continue to operate as normal.
