South Scotland MSP Sharon Dowey has visited A.C.E Supporting Services Ltd. in Prestwick, meeting with Director Abbie McGill.

A.C.E Supporting Services Limited, are a family-run care at home and community support service based in South Ayrshire.

A.C.E  were founded with a clear purpose, to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where young adults with learning disabilities and additional support needs can thrive.

 

They provide care at home support, enabling young adults to build independence and confidence in their own environment:

  • Deliver community-based support and group activities, focused on skills development, social opportunities, and wellbeing.

  • Offer structured workshops and sessions designed around service users’ goals and preferences.

  • Support individuals and families through self-directed support (SDS) arrangements, working collaboratively with social work teams and councils.

They support children (12+) and young adults from (18+) with a wide range of additional support needs, alongside their families and carers. Their ethos is rooted in inclusion, person-centred care, and providing opportunities that promote independence, resilience, and meaningful outcomes.
