At the helm of the kitchen is Executive Chef Ian, a veteran of the culinary world with over 38 years of experience. Ian brings his award-winning expertise to the Cochrane Inn, having previously led kitchens in prestigious venues such as Lochgreen House Hotel, The Buttery, House of an Art Lover, and Rowallan Castle Estate. His accomplishments include securing the title of Best Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year 2022, a testament to his passion for excellence.


Managing the bar is Conor, a professional who has honed his skills in some of the most respected establishments in the hospitality industry, including the Michelin Star-awarded Cail Bruich and the popular Kelvingrove Cafe in Glasgow. Conor’s vast experience promises a bar service that’s second to none, offering both classic and innovative beverages to complement the dining experience.


Ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and impeccable service are Julie and Olivia, the faces of the front of house team. With their rich background at Lochgreen House Hotel and Rowallan Castle Glasshouse restaurant, they are excited to greet guests and ensure their visit is memorable.
