THE Odeon Cinema in Kilmarnock has faced closure.
Dozens of families were evacuated from the Kilmarnock Cinema, situated next to the retail park site on Queens Drive - due to severe flooding from the River Irvine.
Richard Merry who was with his Family to see Spiderman, said:
"Police are turning folks back from going into the town over the river, on Queens Drive.
"We actually got evacuated from the screening of Spider Man, it was during the water monster part of the movie, you couldn't write it - when the woman came in to tell us to leave i said 'It's the water monster!' - although i thought it was maybe the new Kilmarnock Cinema 4/5D experience.
"People should avoid that area."
We have contacted the Odeon for comment.
