An ostrich is on the loose in Ayrshire and the SPCA have warned that we don't go anywhere near it.
The Scottish SPCA said: "We are warning members of the public in Ayrshire to be on the lookout for an ostrich that has been spotted in Patna.
"It is unclear where the animal has come from but we also think it has young with it. Anyone in the area who spots the ostrich or its young should call us as soon as possible on 03000 999 999 so we can keep an eye on where these birds are.
"There have been several sightings of the animal and we are advising people NOT to approach the bird and to especially avoid its young as ostriches are very protective and can become extremely aggressive."
