ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE ON THE A77 CASSILLIS COMMENCES 13th JANUARY
Essential maintenance will take place overnight on the A77 from Cassillis Hotel to Maybole North Gateway, from 8pm to 6am, each night between Wednesday 13th January until Thursday 21st January 2021.
The scheme, with a value of £237, 885, will benefit around 11, 518 by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for the more extensive maintenance in future.
This work will be undertake utilising a full weekend carriageway closure on Friday 15th January until Monday 18th January. There will be additional overnight closures on Wednesday 13th, Thursday 14th, Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th January 2021.
Northbound traffic will leave the A77 at Turnberry to join the A719 and will travel along Greenfield Avenue, on to the B7024. From here, vehicles will continue on Murdochs Lone and Doonholm Road to re-join the northbound A77
Southbound traffic will follow the same diversion in the opposite direction.
