Police Scotland are appealing for witnesses following a Robbery at Springvale Street, Saltcoats, Ayrshire.
Around 22:45 hours on Monday 24th February 2020, a 39 year old man was walking on Springvale Street when he was approached by two men, pushed to the ground and assaulted.
The victim sustained minor facial injuries during this incident and had his wallet, containing a two figure sum of money, stolen before the two suspects ran off towards Argyle Road, Saltcoats.
The suspects are described as both having a local Ayrshire accent.
Suspect one is between 35 and 45 years of age, white, of slim build, with short dark hair and wearing dark tracksuit trousers and a casual jacket.
Suspect two is described as between 35 and 45 years of age, white, of slim build, with short dark hair and wearing a dark coloured tracksuit.
Detective Constable Michael Grant from Saltcoats Police Station said: "This was a frightening experience for the victim and we are keen to hear from any witnesses who may have seen the incident take place.
"We have been conducting extensive enquiries in the area including house to house enquiries and reviewing all available CCTV."
