Officers from the Irvine Valley Community Policing Team are appealing for information following recent damage to vehicles in Darvel.

Between 6pm on Saturday 22nd and 8am on Sunday 23rd October 2016, cars were damaged with scratches and scores covering the length of the vehicles. The majority of these vehicles were parked on the roadway on East Main Street in Darvel.

PC Kevin Paterson, based at Galston Police Office, said: “We are appealing for any information which may assist us in identifying those responsible for these incidents.

“East Main Street is a busy area with a lot of traffic passing through and I would urge anyone who may have seen or heard anything which may assist the enquiry to get in touch.

“Any information can be passed to officers at Galston Police Office."

Police Scotland can be contacted on 101 (Always 999 in an emergency) or alternatively via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained.
