David Stewart was last seen around 2.15pm in Benrig Avenue, Kilmaurs on Wednesday, 17 March 2021 when he got into his car, a blue Ford Focus, registration, SM57 XLC.
He is white, around 5 ft. 2 inches in height, with a slim build, short dark hair.
When last seen, he was wearing orange shorts, green Under Armour hooded jumper and black Nike trainers.
Police in Ayrshire said:
“David has recently been dealing with some personal issues and his family is extremely worried.
“He often visits Kilmarnock, Whitelees Wind Farm, Troon and Prestwick Beach.
“Extensive enquiries have been carried out, however, all attempts to locate him have so far proved unsuccessful.
Inspector Claire Duffy said:
“This is totally out of character for David and we are becoming increasingly concerned for him. We and his family just want to know he is safe and well and I would ask anyone who may have seen David, or who has any information or knowledge as to his whereabouts to please get in touch with us. His family just want him home safe and well.”
