Police in Ayr are appealing for information following a fire within a common close in Princes Court, Ayr on Saturday, 21 November, 2020.
Around 4.50 pm on Saturday, 21 November, emergency services attended the fire which was extinguished by SFRS.
The occupants of the building were evacuated for a short time and a man and woman were treated for smoke inhalation at Ayr Hospital. DC Janet Ferguson at Ayr CID said:
“We are treating this incident as wilful fire-raising and I’d like to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone hanging around the area acting suspiciously.”
