Police Appealing For Information Following a Serious Crash on The A737 Near Dalry

Police are appealing for information following a serious crash on the A737 between Dalgarden Mill and Hillend roundabout near Dalry.

The incident happened around 7.20pm on Monday, 30 December, and involved a cyclist and a white MG3 Exclusive car


Emergency services attended and the cyclist, a 55-year-old man, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with serious injuries. His condition is described as serious.


The road was closed for crash investigation work and re-opened around 11.50pm.


Constable Paul Kelly said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened.


“If you were driving in the area at the time, please also check any dash-cam footage you have and get in touch if you have captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
