Police appealing to help trace missing woman from Ayr

Police Scotland is appealing for help to trace a woman who has been reported missing from Ayr on Wednesday 5 September 2018.

Deborah Christie (55) was last seen leaving her home address in Viewfield Road around 9.50am. She is described as white, 5ft6, of slim build with shoulder length black hair. She was wearing a light blue long sleeved top, black jeans and trainers. She also uses a walking stick. Constable Steven McCabe from Ayr Police Station said: “Deborah has gone missing several times before and her family and friends are worried about her. “She has previously been found walking in woodland in Ayrshire and I would particularly appeal to anyone in these type of areas to look out for her. “Anyone with information regarding Deborah’s whereabouts is asked to contact Ayr Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 1321 of Wednesday 5 September 2018.”
