RE-APPEAL - MISSING TEENAGER - CHLOE CAMPBELL

Officers in Ayrshire are continuing to appeal for information to help trace a missing teenage girl from Kilbirnie. Chloe Campbell (17) was last seen around 2.30 pm on Thursday 21 February in Glasgow however had still been in contact with people until Monday 25 February 2019. She was reported missing to police on Monday 25 February when she failed to return home to Kilbirnie.

Enquiries to date suggest that Chloe has travelled to the Loughborough area, and boarded a train from Glasgow Central on Thursday 21 February 2019.

Chloe is described as white, 5ft 4, heavy built with brown eyes and black collar length hair. When last seen she was wearing a pink hooded top with ‘CAMPUS’ white lettering on the front, black leggings and black training shoes. She was carrying a pink/purple flowery rucksack.

Sergeant Douglas Clark at Irvine Police Office said:

“It has now been a week since Chloe has been in touch with anyone and therefore we are becoming increasingly concerned for her safety and wellbeing.

"We believe she has travelled to the Loughborough area and therefore we are working with British Transport Police and other partners to try and trace her. Do you remember seeing her on a train heading south, or in Glasgow Central? “I’d like to speak to anyone who has seen her or anyone who knows of her present whereabouts to contact police at Irvine via 101 quoting incident number 2787 of Monday 25 February 2019. “I’d also like to appeal to Chloe directly to contact either police or family to let us know that she is safe.”
