West FM radio DJ Colin McArdle has decided to make an exit from his famous breakfast show.

The "MC Man" as they call him has been on the mic and coming through your radio for over 21 years and has now decided to give it up.
Colin presented his final breakfast show today and will look forward to taking his other career in car sales to the next level.
Speaking to the Ayr Advertiser - West FM content director Mike Richardson said: “Colin has been an outstanding colleague, a fantastic ambassador for West FM and probably the most hard working man in both radio and car sales! He is a great talent and I know his 21 years with West FM will be fondly remembered by many people, and that he will always be a friend of the station.
“On behalf of everyone on the West FM team I would like to say a huge thank you to Colin for all his hard work and commitment. We’ve all massively enjoyed working with him on the show and wish him every success – as well as some well-earned extra sleep – in the future.”
Drive time presenter Alan Shaw will host this Monday's breakfast show, with West FM soon announce a new morning schedule in due course.
