Roadworks planned for Eglinton Interchange

Road users are being asked to plan ahead as significant roadworks are being planned at the Eglinton Interchange between Kilwinning and Irvine on Sunday, 26 January.

Surface improvement works are being carried out at interchange, including slip and entry roads, from 7am to 4pm.

This will require the interchange to close to traffic. Drivers are asked to observe the signed diversions which will be in place and allow appropriate time for journeys while works are carried out.

North Ayrshire Council is carrying out improvements to road surface and while we appreciate this will cause some temporary inconvenience to motorists, it will bring long-term benefits through road improvements.
