RUBY Black, aged 47, sadly lost her life as she fought her battle with cancer.
The popular barber was diagnosed with liver cancer last year and in October had to shut shop in Ayr's Main Street, due to her illness.
Ruby sadly passed away on Tuesday at the Ayrshire Hospice, where she was looked after very well.
She began to set up her own business after working in Trims as a teenager, which was a barbers based in Ayr Town in 1986.
Friends and Customer posted to Social Media to express their feelings about the loss of Ruby.
Ruby will also be sadly missed by partner John, children Grant and Carley and step son Kyle.
