Santa Claus popped into Ayrshire Maternity Unit to make a special delivery today.

Baby Ayda Nicola May Blackwood made her way into the world at 12.43am on Christmas Day – a daughter for mum, Lynsey Rooney, and dad, John Blackwood, from Ayr. Little Ayda weighed in at 7lb 2oz.


We wish Lynsey, John and little Ayda a very Merry Christmas.
