Temperatures are set to rise this weekend with some places hitting 23°.
The weather hasn’t exactly been great over the past few weeks but that’s all set to change as high pressure is set to arrive for the weekend.
Although it won’t be wall to wall sunshine with light winds and plenty of sunny spells it will certainly feel more like summer.
Today will see a band of heavy rain pass over Ayrshire this afternoon before the weather improves tomorrow and into the weekend.
