Travel: Overnight Roadworks Planned For Irvine

Road users are being asked to plan ahead as significant overnight roadworks are being planned for Irvine from this Sunday.

The surface improvement works are being carried out at the Merryvale Roundabout from 7pm to 7am daily to minimise disruption.

Drivers are asked to observe the signed diversions which will be in place and allow appropriate time for journeys while works are carried out.

The Merryvale Roundabout will be closed to traffic overnight from Sunday, 13 October, to Sunday, 27 October, or sooner if conditions allow.

North Ayrshire Council is carrying out improvements to road surface and while we appreciate this will cause some temporary inconvenience to motorists, it will bring long-term benefits through road improvements.
