TROON TRAIN STATION TARGETED BY VANDALS


TROON train station has been targeted in latest vandal attack.


Rail staff who are based at the Troon Train Station arrived last Sunday morning only to find smashed glass and raided cupboard after managing to get access to the station by smashing 3 windows it was understood. The vandals/theives left with nothing according to rail staff.

A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said: “Officers are investigating vandalism at Troon railway station, which occurred between 6pm on Saturday, 8 August, and 8am on Sunday, 9 August.

“Waiting room and toilet windows were broken in the incident, causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage."

It has also been said that Flowers have been ruined recently by sick vandals.
