Trumps only immediate travel plans should be leaving the White House, said First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon. She said: ”I hope and expect that - as everybody expects, not everybody necessarily will hope - that the travel plan immediately that he has is to exit the White House.”
FM Nicola Sturgeon also added that Donald Trumps visit to Scotland would not be seen as essential while Scotland remains in Lockdown.
Rumours have been circulating around Social media that Donald Trump planned to travel to his Turnberry golf resort in Ayrshire on the 19th and completely skip the Inauguration Day on the 20th when president elect Joe Biden will officially become the next US president. However, the White House refuses to comment on his plans.
