Woman Dies in Irvine as Police Close Road and Urge Public to Avoid Area

A woman has died following an incident in Irvine which has led to the closure of a residential street.

Police Scotland confirmed that officers were called to Pladda Avenue around 6.15am on Tuesday, 30 September, 2025.

Emergency services remain at the scene and the road is currently closed while enquiries continue.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Pladda Avenue in Irvine is closed following the death of a woman. Officers were called around 6.15am on Tuesday, 30 September, 2025. Emergency services are at the scene and the public is advised to avoid the area.”
