THREE people charged with drug misuse after warrants executed at three Bellsbank addresses

At around 10.30 am, Tuesday, 9 February, officers from Police Scotland executed three warrants at addresses in Auchenroy Crescent in Bellsbank under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

A quantity of heroin, cannabis, money and other articles were seized as part of the operation. Two men aged 37 and 38 and a woman aged 66 were arrested and charged in connection with the recovery and will appear at Ayr Sheriff court at a later date. Detective Inspector Ewan Bell of the Ayrshire Proactive Crime Team said: "Tackling drug supply remains a key priority in East Ayrshire and this latest recovery demonstrates that we continue to act on information provided by the communities in which we serve. "I would encourage anyone with information on those involved in crime in their community to contact us. "Police Scotland can be contacted by calling 101.
