At around 10.30 am, Tuesday, 9 February, officers from Police Scotland executed three warrants at addresses in Auchenroy Crescent in Bellsbank under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
A quantity of heroin, cannabis, money and other articles were seized as part of the operation. Two men aged 37 and 38 and a woman aged 66 were arrested and charged in connection with the recovery and will appear at Ayr Sheriff court at a later date. Detective Inspector Ewan Bell of the Ayrshire Proactive Crime Team said: "Tackling drug supply remains a key priority in East Ayrshire and this latest recovery demonstrates that we continue to act on information provided by the communities in which we serve.
