Much more warmer weather is set to arrive from around 9th May with the possibility of a heatwave on the cards.
This week's weather has been somewhat of a downgrade from late with much cooler temperatures and less sunshine however things look set to warm up from around 9th May when temperatures could hit 20⁰ widely across Ayrshire with plenty of sunshine.
This Bank Holiday Monday will however be on the cooler side with a high of 11⁰ and a mix of sunshine and showers so not exactly beach weather, but after the Bank Holiday the weather will start to improve as the days go on.
As always there is plenty of room for change in the forecast and exact temperatures or if a heatwave will be on the way won't be known until early May so stay tuned to all our forecasts.
