93-Year-Old Man Dies After Crash in Kilmarnock

Police are appealing for information after a 93-year-old man died following a crash in Kilmarnock.

The incident happened around 2.40pm on Wednesday 19 November 2025 on Fowlds Street and involved a green BMW 525 tds touring and a pedestrian.


Emergency services attended and the man was taken to hospital, where he died on Thursday 20 November 2025. The road was closed for investigations and reopened around 9.30pm.


Sergeant Brian Simpson of Ayrshire Roads Policing Unit said:


“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died as a result of this crash. Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us. I would also appeal for anyone who was in the area and has dash cam or private CCTV footage which could assist to get in touch.”
