New Bridge street has been closed due to an on-going police incident.
The New bridge at the Sandgate in Ayr has been closed Both ways with Police, Fire Brigade and RNLI Lifeboat & Coastguard crews currently at the scene.
It was closed shortly after 11pm - Saturday 10 August.
Traffic is being diverted via John street.
