BREAKING NEWS: New Bridge Ayr closed after water rescue takes place

UPDATE: 1AM - Road now open.

A coastguard rescue is in place and New Bridge in Ayr is closed off by Police Scotland.

The road was closed and emergency services called after someone was pulled from the harbour river, locals told Ayrshire Daily News.
