BREAKING: Trace & Protect activated at Kilmarnock Academy within a small number of pupils

NHS Trace & Protect has been activated at Kilmarnock academy within a "small number" of pupils who have had contact with someone who has tested positive its been confirmed this afternoon.

Any pupils affected will be contacted by the NHS over the next 24 hours and anyone contacted will need to self isolate for 14 days at home.

Extra measures at Kilmarnock academy are taking place to protect staff and pupils.
