The partnership, announced on 4 December, marks a significant step for the hospitality group as it continues to invest in training, skills and opportunities across its expanding portfolio of 22 venues.

The Master Chefs of Great Britain, a respected non-profit organisation, supports chefs throughout their professional careers and is widely recognised for fostering emerging culinary talent. Its members include some of the most accomplished figures in the industry.

By becoming an official sponsor, Buzzworks will work closely with the organisation to enhance professional development pathways for its own teams, while also helping aspiring chefs advance through college-level entry points into long-term hospitality careers.

David Bell, Director of Food at Buzzworks, said: “We are incredibly proud to support the work of The Master Chefs of Great Britain. It’s an organisation that aligns perfectly with Buzzworks’ values and our belief in the continuous development of our culinary teams.

“By collaborating closely with MCGB, we’re able to mentor and inspire the next generation of chefs, while also ensuring our teams benefit from the highest level of expertise, training and support.

“This sponsorship will play a vital role in attracting new talent through enhanced training and development opportunities. It provides a clear pathway for aspiring college-level chefs to join Buzzworks and build long, fulfilling careers across a diverse range of kitchens – from commis chef to head chef and beyond.”

Chefs within the business will now gain access to MCGB’s established programme of masterclasses, offering the chance to learn directly from some of the UK’s leading culinary professionals. These sessions will complement Buzzworks’ own internal development programmes, with customers expected to see the positive impact reflected in creativity, consistency and overall dining experience.

David Bell added: “By strengthening and motivating our culinary teams, we can continue delivering exceptional food and memorable dining experiences for our customers, while contributing to the wider advancement of culinary excellence across the UK.

“As our chefs broaden their skills and expand their culinary repertoire, the masterclasses will further enhance the dining experience and uphold the high standards Buzzworks is known for.”

The news comes during a standout year for Buzzworks, which was recently ranked 29th in the UK’s ‘Best Large Company to Work For’ list – its highest placing in a decade of recognition.
