A new creative space has opened its doors in Newmilns, offering local residents the chance to explore hands-on crafts and artistic experiences while bringing fresh energy to the high street.

The Inglenook Studio marks a new chapter for Little Prints Scotland, the bespoke gift business known for personalised family and pet keepsakes. Following a successful period in Mauchline, the business has relocated to a larger premises, allowing for expanded workshops, retail space and creative activities.

Led by craft specialist Tracey Harman, who brings more than 12 years’ experience in pottery and handmade crafts, the studio aims to provide a welcoming environment where people of all skill levels can explore creativity. Tracey said the new venture reflects a growing desire for meaningful, tactile experiences and community connection.

The studio’s programme includes hand-building pottery sessions, a rotating schedule of craft classes and the popular Little Prints personalised clay and print experiences. Designed to encourage slow, mindful creativity, the space has been created as a relaxed workshop environment for both beginners and experienced makers.

The Inglenook Studio officially opens on 14 February and hopes to become a new focal point for creativity in the local area, offering residents and visitors an opportunity to learn new skills while supporting independent enterprise.
