A dad is appealing for information after his son was brutally attacked by 3 men leaving Ayr train station last night (Saturday 11th November).

Jonny, who is pictured above, was attending a Little Mix concert in Glasgow with his Girlfriend when he was attacked by 3 men on his way home after getting off the train at Ayr station.
The incident took place around 11:50pm where 3 men believed to be aged between 30 and 50 years old.
Jonny has been left with severe facial injuries including an operation needed to his eye.
Jonny’s Dad, Andrew, issued the following appeal on social media site Facebook:
“Anyone on the Glasgow to Ayr train last night at 11 o'clock? This is my son jonny before he goes for an operation on that eye.
“Came off the train at Ayr station about 11.50 last night with his girlfriend after a night in Glasgow and was attacked by 3 men, two in there 30s and one mid fifties who had all been on the train since it left Glasgow.
“The police are looking through cctv footage to try and identify the culprits but I'm putting it on here in the hope that someone witnessed it, his girlfriend tells me at least 30-40 folk came off the train with them and most must have seen it, but a lot of them were returning from the little mix concert with kids so didn't get involved,, which is understandable,, but nows the time to say something.
“He's not a bad lad by any means and certainly ain't a trouble maker as anyone that knows him will tell you,,,,, feel free to share. Thanks!”
Andrew hopes that sharing this appeal will allow police to get the information needed to catch and arrest the 3 men involved.
Anyone with information are advised to call 101.
