Local business, Beau Beau Boutique, has announced its closure, marking the end of a remarkable chapter for a shop that brought style, confidence, and smiles to so many across Ayrshire and beyond.

The boutique, which opened in November 2016, was the lifelong dream of Victoria, whose passion was to create a warm and memorable shopping experience for girls searching for their perfect prom dress. Over the years, Beau Beau became a household name, winning awards, building friendships, and helping countless young women feel beautiful in their own skin.
In an emotional statement, Victoria’s children shared that, despite every effort to continue their mother’s legacy following her passing in December last year, the shop was no longer viable.
“Beau Beau meant everything to our mum,” they said. “After losing our dad to cancer in 2020 and later facing her own battle, the shop gave her purpose. She always said, ‘That shop gives me a reason to get out of bed in the morning, I get to go in and make other ladies and young women feel a million dollars.’”
The family extended heartfelt thanks to Beau Beau’s loyal customers, whose continued support meant so much over the years, and to the dedicated team, Fiona, Beth, and Hazel, for their hard work and commitment.
While Beau Beau Boutique is closing, the family shared some positive news: a new prom shop will soon open in the same premises. “We wish them every success and hope they enjoy it as much as our mum did,” they said.
In a touching closing message, Victoria’s children, Gaby, Findlay, and Poppy expressed their gratitude for the love and comfort shown to them over the past year.
“As Victoria’s kids, we never imagined finding ourselves without both our parents at such a young age. Your kind words and memories of our mum have meant the world to us. Thank you for keeping her spirit alive.”
A final farewell, and a heartfelt thank you from Beau Beau Boutique.
